We put the new Nikon D5000 to the test for one day with two kids, Maddie and Lockie, and let them loose in Sydney to find out how they would go capturing their day on camera. See more @ My Nikon Life: http://mynikonlife.com.au

  • is it normal for the little green light to flash for a second when i attatch or remove the lens on the d5000????

    cheers

  • @xx74g5 Hi, no this is not normal. The only time the green light should flash is when you insert the SD card. We recommend you to get in touch with your local service centre to get the camera checked out.

  • @nikonaustralia hey guys cool video! I'm planning to buy this camera for sure, but it has no auto focus motor installed so that means I have to buy a lense that comes with auto focus right? And this is gonna cost me how much compared to the D90? Please respond! THANKS!!! :)

  • @tjacass don't worry about the motor thing as there are over 30 AF-S lenses available + all the kit lenses for the D5000 are AF-S. Unless you have older AF Nikkors, this will never be an issue as all new lenses have the built in auto focus motor.

  • how much is that in australia?

  • @MrLarrend The RRP ($AUD) for D5000 in Australia is: $1399 (body + 18-55VR), $1699 (body + 18-55VR + 55-200VR), or $1199 (for body only). Go to Nikon Aus website for authorised retailers. Hope this helps!

  • @ahmednh bahah yeah i saw that!

  • Giving it to kids isn't a test! Those kids have had technology since the day they were born. The real test is giving it to an old person!!!!!

  • @cheetodude24 i presume the gap concerning what's semi pro and pro is small today. d7000 is all everyone need. visit... freedslr dot com change dot with . and take a way to bring home completely new Nikon D7000
