The American Dream is not about social justice, equal poverty for all with no incentive nor reward to succeed. The American Dream is about the free market. It rewards those who make it with both money and feelings of accomplishment.

The American Dream is not a welfare state for all. It challenges all to become better to get the things they truly want in life. There will always be poor. Why should we abolish the middle class for the elitist desire to redefine the American Dream?

@grafight I disagree with Obama's policies, I think the only reason people think he will be a good president at all, is because of his abillity to be vague in speeches, and direct it towards these words. Hope, and change. To bad, his change doesn't go along with the idea of the true american dream. His bills are all for more government. They are even towards so much government, that politicians today say that its to much. His change, isn't the good kind in my opinion.

This comparison is a GREAT INSULT to the man that was MLK. MLK was one of the BRAVEST men this country has ever known. If it wasn't for him Obama wouldn't be where his is today. THAT is the only corelation to the two. How dare OBAMA use MLK's platform to promote his agenda. OBAMA IS SCUM.
