@ingrid0402100 because dan is all those fucking writers ever cared about. actually nate is the male leader in gossip girl. but they turned him in a dumb and confused guy and dan is still a psycho and judgemental. and now when they finally realize that nate and serena belong together they screw them up again!hate all those humphrey kids, they better go back home to brooklyn

Part of me hates this scene, because it's like why the fuck would Dan care? He barely knew Serena at this point. It just shows how wrong he is for Serena and how much of an asshole he used to be.
