Away from your Mac and don't use 1Password touch for iPhone or iPod touch? Then our new 1PasswordAnywhere feature lets you decrypt your keychain and view your 1Password information. All you need is a modern web browser like Firefox or Safari, and access to your keychain on a flash drive or over the Internet.

  • @Valsainte I was curious about this too. You've probably already found or forgot about it as I just realised your post is 9 months old.. but basically even if DropBox was hacked, they would still need your master password to access your stuff.

  • Last Past is much better:

    - support all browsers

    - support all platforms

    - totally free!!!

1Password is overpriced, should cost $4.99 or be free like LastPass.

  • i need to recover my twitter password. it was hacked and the email was changed so i cant reset anything.. i can still use Echofon and Twitter on my ipod. but how can i access the passwords? yes i am jailbroken

  • How safe is it to store banking details with this software?

The CIA was hacked recently - does this mean that 1password is just as vulnerable?

  • I use Dropbox a great deal and like it, but I am concerned about the security of this arrangement. How secure is my entire password information on a cloud-based server?

I think of Dropbox as a convenience, but not as secure as, say online banking, which has, as I understand it, multiple layers of security. Given recent stories of sensitive information being stolen, are there any data on how secure Dropbox is for 1Password? Thanks.

  • @fatsotomuscles No, not the same at all. E-mail passwords are a lot easier to hack. This offers 256 bit encryption and double Hash passwords.

  • Once I'm logged in to 1password, will it log me in automatically to websites I access with a web browser?

  • Can't I just put all my info sent via to myself through my email? Wouldn't it be the same, I could access my passwords anywhere too. Let me know what's the big difference between that and 1password

  • Hi,

This app is absolutely awesome ! Keep up the good work ! Can't wait for 1Password 3 to come out officially !

  • So I take it that's what happened to my1password! Saved my butt several times until the day it vanished!
