I saw predaking in idw spotlight jazz and there kinda badass there... cause in that series they are considered like the dicepticon version of the wrekers... elite shock troopers...

Predaking was developed by the person who developed alot of the super sentai series aka power rangers in america and was built by bandai which is why hes alot different from alot of the other G1 figures.

Predaking's introduction in 2005 means he's an afterthought.I am a G1 fan,this series continuation is like the 2007 remake cartoon series.G1 aka series 1 and 2 are the best and original the rest is rendition garbage.

I've read online that Monstructor has the ability to drain the life-force of any living thing he touches, carbon based, transformer, etc. Sounds like he would have no problem dealing with Predaking.
