  • Hi, I've been typing in Dvorak for 4 months now. I'm at a stable 55wpm, and have hit 78 on easier tests.

It's strange, after typing for 20 years in Qwerty, I've completely forgotten it lol. But it doesn't bother me. I get back on a Qwerty layout and It just reaffirms that I made the right choice to go to Dvorak. Qwerty makes no sense!

Although I do hate typing the word "people" in Dvorak lolz.

Mind doing a new video with an update for us? Where you at now?!

  • We don't have to replace, we can just rearrange the keys, and reconfigure the keyboard programing.

Don't have to be the entire population, can just be for schools.

That's like saying society is locked in with it's mainstream music.

"You can't teach an old dog new tricks." Is not set in stone...for me at least.

  • I can achieve a speed of 64 WPM on QWERTY, how far do you guys think I can go with DVORAK?

  • The trick is to memorize all the keys first, then completely forget about QWERTY, not use it at all and stay away from it. If you do this, you'll probably find it a lot easier to get up in typing speeds.

I type about 88 wpm, and I started Dvorak in early September.

  • My layout is in QWERTY, but I have memorized were all the keys are, it greatly increase speed. and ya I hate typing the word people.

  • I can get 100+ wpm (130-140 burst) every single try on 1min Aesop's fable. I wonder what I would type in Dvorak if I learned it?

  • I'm about to be on my fourth month, and I'm averaging 90. Typing Master is a good program for learning Dvorak.

  • That's a QWERTY keyboard o.o

  • I type around 120-130 words on a QWERTY, trying to learn dvorak now :)
