CBBC presenter Dave Benson Phillips joined the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in presenting tales by children's author Ann Bryant.
Anthony Inglis conducted the orchestra through classic insect inspired works.
Bryant's opening tale, entitled Wasp Alert in Minibug Bonanzaland, was accompanied by Ralph Vaughan Williams's The Wasps, while Beethoven and Saint-Saens also acted as a score for the stories
