Very informative, can you change a 110v outlet to a 240v outlet? If so would you need to change the wires as well?

@vcdna1 In order to change a 110v to 240v you run two hots and a ground rather than one hot, one common and one ground. A 110v circuit is run off one breaker where a 240v breaker is run off a double breaker, creating two hots from separate legs of the panel. Hope this helps.
