A premature baby girl, born as a result of induced labor, was pronounced dead Monday at the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya, only to be discovered alive five hours later in the hospital's cooler.The mother, 26, from a Western Galilee village, was in the fifth month of her pregnancy when she underwent a series of tests, during which it was discovered that she was suffering from internal bleeding and that the embryo had ceased to show signs of life. She underwent an abortion and the baby, weighing 610 grams, was extracted from her womb without a pulse, hospital officials said. @GedenWilbur i agree with you.. completely. i'd like to know how someone could call someone else ignorant for believing in science. i'll believe in god and "gods glory" when it can be scientifically proven.

@misswillingtolearn I am being ignorant? Well that's just amusing. And yes I will be bitter as long as people are allowed to believe in this deeply harmful thing and it keeps having influence around the world despite the overwhelming evidence. It's a psychotic behaviour and should be treated as such.

unfortunately that baby girl died the next day in the NICU. I found the whole news story after using google.Baby probably would have lived if the mother had better medical care.

Makes you really think about induced, late term abortions when survival at this stage is actually possible. So sad. This is uplifting though.
