@79pfloyd First of all, he isn't indian, he's a native, or american indian. Secondly, he still had his helmet on. Finally, i agree with you, ... it's good to see the big guy goes down. That fight ended Bouchard career in the habs. He got exchanged not too long after.

YA OK CHICO RESH IT LOOKS WORSE THEN IT IS ?? ITS NOT AS BAD AS IT SEEMS?? LOL PIERRE GOT HIS ASSKICKED AND UNTILL THIS DAY HIS NOSE IS STILL MISSING..

Johnathon was always a favorite of Don Cherry. If you watch enough of his fights, you can see he was the Tie Domi of his day, though I think Johnathon was a better hockey player.

@Cancerape Styles make fights, so how they did against Staubitz doesn't give you as much info as some thing it would. It would have been entertaining to see Rypien and Tootoo go at it, and if they fought 10 times, maybe Rick wins 5, Tootoo wins 3 and 2 of them are too close to call.
Look at boxing-Pacquiao destroyed Hatton who took Floyd to the 10th round. But Floyd whipped Marquez in 1 rd, and he took Pacquiao the distance-so you never know. I can't emphasize it enough:styles make fights.

@SlipSlydinLydin yea, lol, highly debatable....Tootoo beat Staubitz twice (b4 Stau got even) whereas Rypien got beat in their only fight, Tootoo also knocked out 6'5 Tommy Sestito, and beat the fuck out Jarome Iginla after Iggy jumped him....but Toots has had some surprising losses such as Clowe, Barch, but Staubitz was deffo his worst loss.
Shame him and Ripper never did go, would have been an interesting bout.

@Cancerape It's between Tootoo and Prust. Jordin is actually 2 lbs heavier than Brandon believe it or not. I'd say Prust has taken on better comepetition, with guys like Gillies, Lucic and Kopopka, but he loses more often than Tootoo. When I saw Prust and Tootoo fight a few years back, it was a pretty even fight.
If Rypien was still alive, I'd still take him 1st. He beat Prust 2 out of 3 times in bloody wars, & he took on a giant like Valabik and beat him down-But any 1 of them is a good choice.

@SlipSlydinLydin wow, you sure know your hockey, I like you....everyone goes one about how "tiny" Domi was, most people dont realize he was 213 pounds (which is fucking stacked for a guy who was 5'9 at best).
Tootoo is pretty stacked himself and that is why he does well, plus the fact he can throw the gloves down faster than anyone else I have ever seen, not the toughest guy on the ice atm but probably the toughest for his size, I honestly think he would edge the late Rypien

@Cancerape I'm aware that Shelley is old, & that Laraque and Brash are retired, but Tootoo has been in the league for 10 years, & I was referring to some big names over that decade that weren't 6'8 like Boogaard. I figured 6'3 was around the biggest guys Stan tangle with so I used them as examples.
The difference with Domi is that he was the same weight as most of the other enforcers. He was short, but he was 210 lbs and he was solid muscle with a granite head.
Stan regularly gave up 35lbs.

@SlipSlydinLydin Shelley is pretty old now, and the other 2 have retired, Toots once made a beeline at Brashear but it never came to anything.....Tie Domi was another short guy who was tough as fuck, he did fight Brashear several times, Probert, and Laraque, he won some and lost some, but even Probert himself admitted that Domi was one of his toughest opponents, especially for his size.

@Cancerape Tootoo has never beaten a top 5 fighter of all-time. Jonathan beat Behn Wilson, and fought most of the top 10 fighters in his era-Dave Schultz, Gillies, Wilson, etc. If Tootoo fought Shelley, Brashear and Laraque, and managed to win 2 out of 3-or even hold his own in all 3, then you could compare him to Jonathan!
Tootoo is tough, but he's no Stan Jonathan!
@theultimateultimatum While you are right the habs have had some good fights in the late 80's, 90's the fights of the current day youjust listed are bruins players who dont fight.. seriously krejci and boychuk just don't fight. And if you wanna bring up the brawl last year 3 of your guys got their asses kicked and hamrlik started throwing punches first.. and the same thing with pyett. When the habs try to goon it up every once in awhile they end up getting their asses kicked.

I love it. A 5"8 indian beating a 6"2 thug by switching hands and breaking his freakin nose.
