a 10 watt amp is pretty much as loud as you would want it but it sounds like absolute shit.

a ten watt tube amp...hell yeah its pretty loud. solid state is another story, its not too loud.

Could a 10watt amp withstand the heavy distortion from a bc rich warlock/beast (not warbeast, im asking about both in general) or would it sound too crappy?

The guitar isn't what creates the distortion, it's the amp. The quality of the sound would depend on the design of the amp.
