Prince Gustaf Adolf and Princess Sibylla of Sweden

Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten (Stockholm, April 22, 1906 -- Kastrup Airfield, Copenhagen, January 26, 1947) was the eldest son of Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden and his first wife Princess Margaret of Connaught. His mother was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria since she was the daughter of HRH Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, and his wife, Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia.
Gustaf Adolf was the father of the current king, Carl XVI Gustaf.

Princess Sibylla of Sweden, Duchess of Västerbotten (born Princess Sibylla Calma Maria Alice Bathildis Feodora of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha; Schloss Friedenstein, 18 January 1908 -- Stockholm, 28 November 1972), was the wife of Prince Gustav Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten, and is the mother of the current King of Sweden, Carl She was the daughter of Charles Edward, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and Victoria Adelaide of Schleswig-Holstein, a daughter of Princess Karoline Mathilde of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg and Friedrich Ferdinand, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein, and descended from an older Scandinavian royal house. Through her father, she was a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. Her grandfather was Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, the youngest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Gustaf.

poor princess sybilla she was at first love by the swedish but after her father become involve too much on the nazi and her unfortunate to bear a son and heir to the throne made her unpopular she never really adjust to the swedish culture or the language but speak english to her husband

I will watch their marriage. I think it is shown all over the Europe.

Though we Finns have always thought they are proud but it doesn´t matter.

The Swedes have created a society I like. They have always been friedly

to Finland. What do you think about this.

I hope this is not a negative comment. But I think his son ( now Carl Gustav VI )

is just as uncompetent like Nicholas II was at his time. But we like Carl Gustav

he is much more pleasent than the Russians like Putin this time. We have not forgotten the brutal attack by the Soviet in 1939. It was a miracle we survived.

But we had guts and luck an a good timing.

The old king Gustav V, the prince Gustav Adolf were at his funeral. But the next day

the young prince Carl Gustav was in his Grand Daddy´s lap looking for the future.

Unfortunately we have no choice what would Prince Gustaf Adolf would become.

I think he seemed intelligent like his father King Gustav VI.
