I personally think this concept of an electric car with a range extender is the way forward if the consumer is to accept electric vehicles as there next car of choice. Electric cars are plagued with inconvenience at present and until the technology improves (Which im sure it will in the very near future) we cant completely say no to petrol/diesel power. This is the reason why an electric car with a petrol/diesel range extender at present makes perfect sense, Im sold :D

Audi needs to get back into the sporty market. They need to build a 3 door RS3 and a new RS4. Those two would be awesome; I know they're working on an R8 'Clubsport" right now which should be pretty cool.

@OneOfaKind949 I think Japan would be really good when it comes to electric motors. The Japanese have a very strong robotic industry; that may play a strong role in reliability.

Everyone knows the Germans cars have the worst electronics problems... I'm not sure if I would even buy an electric car from a German car company...
