Spinal twists help release toxins from the body. This pose also stretches the shoulders and spine, and can relieve mild backache and hip pain.

Check with your doctor before doing this pose if you have had a serious back injury, or if you have low or high blood pressure. Not recommended for people who have migraines, diarrhea, or insomnia. If you have low back pain, sit on the edge of a blanet while doing this pose. Remember to breathe.
