Teachers aren't forced to teach anything more specific about marriage other than healthy, supportive relationships. Regardless, homosexuality and gay marriage are realities. So, I don't think it's a negative thing to have teachers impartially educate kids about something that exists. Learning about gay people can't possibly "make someone gay", just like learning about straight people can't "make someone straight".

You are actually jumping from gay marriage to marrying a goat.?. It is ignorance like that that make your argument laughable. You are the same people that said that the marriage of a black and white person would be the end of humanity! Good God! Oh, the reason the CA Supreme Court overturned Prop. 22. It is CONSTITUTIONAL issue, not a religious one! Vote NO ON 8!

And you better enjoy it while you can, because it's just going to be overturned by the supreme court, AGAIN.
All you gay hippies spouting off with your bs need to be 100% in support of ALL consensual relationship (i.e. polygamy, imbredding), else you are factually a hypocrite.

@llouldeng First off, inbreeding is not a relationship. It is the biological result of incest. And while I don't speak for the gay community, I don't support incest, but as long as it isn't producing inbred children, they're really not hurting anyone. Similarly, I see nothing wrong with a cluster of willing adults sharing a mutual relationship as long as everyone is truly involved by choice. If no one is being hurt, I don't see how anyone's relationship is anyone else's business.

@cheshirecattict -- So you wouldn't have a problem with consensual sibling marriage or polygamy marriage. Glad to clear that up. Kinda gross, but not surprising since you support SSM. 'Least you're not a hypocrite like the rest of the LGBT community.

@llouldeng I'm not a proponent of either sibling marriage or polygamgy, but it really isn't my place to pass judgement on other people's lives or relationships when their actions aren't harming anyone. It's nobody's business but their own, and I read somewhere "Judge not, that ye be not judged." On a separate note, equating same sex marriage with incest is just as ignorant as likening it to beastiality.
