lol at the bad pun in the title. Well, I beat Gene, explain the future of this LP and how I might be the only person to do a full LP of the game, and I beat Sara in Fast forward. Awesome.

Just a note, you can turn animations off and speed up text in game by pressing start, choosing config and making the appropriate adjustments. (Note that turning off animations only turns off the first part of the attack animation, (like the water spout in water gun) but not the ending animation (three flashes that appear on opponent's pokemon))

I would really appreciate it you could figure out what initiates the Challenge Cup, and what promo cards are distributed there.

I'll look into it. Off the top of my head I thought it was # of gyms defeated for the cups, but I'll check.

Also, I was wondering what actions initiated trades at Ishihara's house, and if it is possible to miss out on some promo cards altogether? I've read some walkthroughs and they tend to suggest that if you lose to your rival you will miss out on the Jigglypuff and Super Energy Removal promo.

AND I was wondering if there is any way to initiate another rival battle after beating the Final Four, as you will see your rival in Ishihara's house, and he asks if you would like to battle, but then refuses.
