Which driver do you use for the Powerbook's ATI. I think it should be a mobility radeon, so do you use the "old" fglrx driver or the open source radeonhd driver?

i have a powerbook G4 its LCD is not showing display so i have attached a External Monitor Through DVI but now when i want to try New OS it show the dialog box to left side that i cant see, like its a dual display and the dialog box on the primary monitor and in front of me its a secondary display how can i see the display on my screen pls help.....thx

man. i did it.....i did everything u are saying but i wont.. it saids to me to update my firewire but i cant coz when i try mac os classic appeare and says it is not install.....i am gonna dieeeee

Oh, ok. My PowerBook (I've sold it now) was nVidia and my iMac G4 is nVidia and there aren't really any good Linux drivers for nVidia on PPC.
hii. hey man my name is manny i am from dominican republic. i've been trying to install mac os x leopard in my powerbook g4 1.6 ghz 2 gb od memoryram and i cant. i want some help how did u do it.

@flmannyflorenzan For OS X 10.5 just put the disks in and it should do it. You might have to restart (with the CD in tray) and hold the 'C' key while the mac boots. This will cause it to boot from CD and installing from there is easy stuff!
Make sure your not using Snow Leopard because that won't install on PPC Macs only newer Intel ones.

Isn't your graphics card a nVidia? If it is... how did you find the drivers? I need nVidia drivers for my Ubuntu.

Nope, The Video card in my powerbook is an ATI and i found a driver that supported Combiz Fusion and just went from there.
