i like how they added levels in this game, in all past games units were expendable, and would be killed even if it only did the slightest damage, now we have a reason to be realistic and call squads back to city's for healing

Well, technically, levels were featured in Super Famicom Wars prior to DoR, in terms ov up to Level 5, I think, but yeah. Levels gives you an incentive to keep units around.
