The Yak 54XL is the next generation in 3D aerobatic R/C electric airplanes. Featuring super high quality components such as "Zero Flex" carbon fiber pushrods, aluminum pushrod clevises, and a machined aluminum prop spinner. With a greater than 1:1 power to weight ratio, the Yak 54XL will hover at half throttle and perform any 3D maneuver in the book. We designed The Yak 54XL to be able to easily take off and land on grass as well as various rough surfaces with using our new 2.5 inch "Shock Impact" rubber wheel design in the landing gear. Aluminum spinner adds to scale realism and will allow for more precise and balanced prop rotation. All control surfaces have full deflection to allow maximum servo travel for the "Ultimate" in R/C control. The Yak 54XL is powered by a 3600kv brushless motor for greater efficiency and increased power and torque required for effective 3D flying. The Yak 54XL comes 3 Variations; Stripped Kit, ARTF and RTF versions.

  • Can this plane take off and LAND on paved roads only?

  • It can take off grassy fields , as well as paved roads

  • looks like another awsome plane!! i have enjoyed all the planes that i have bought from you all.. i still have them and fly them all the time.. they have never let me down.. i have 3 gee bees from you guys and mine fly very well..all my parkflyer planes are still flying!! i am planning to re-up my fleet next spring and i hope you will be there for me..most ...if not all my next fleet will come from you..i dont think you can beat your prices plus service... please keep up the excellent work!!

  • Thanks Tim! How have you been! I miss Ya!

  • how is the response time? I have the GEE BEE and the radio equiptment seemed shabby. The response time wasn't that great and it isn't very stable. Is this lipo? Spectrum ready?

  • We never heard that before. The Yak 54XL has a 2.4 GHZ radio system and works just GREAT! Response is immediate and linear. Our system is not spectrum compatible.

  • This is one of the worst 3D plane demo videos I have ever seen. Either the plane sucks or the pilot does (It's so bad I think it's probably both...)

You should seriously consider getting a better pilot to demo your planes because this video really failed to sell it to me. There are tons of kids on RCgroups that would kill for the chance to make that thing look good for you on video...

  • You know what would be cool for you to do for a youtube video? attach a small camera on one of your planes and do split scenes like this video here... and mix the scenes with views from the seat of this small plane... This might make your video a lot more interesting and get more views... thus more sales (maybe)

This would be a good christmas gift... anyways

  • @Parkflyers Does this fly like the Extra 330L that you used to sell. I had one of those planes and liked it a lot. Does it have a built up wing like the Extra did, or is the wing solid foam like your Edge 540T ?
