The sofa advert censored to protect other tv advertisers!
CSL take a big step in furniture retailing by boldly going where none have dared to go before.... Managing Director, Jason Tyldesley has been quoted as saying: "From now on we don't do sales".
CSL have recently revamped their marketing strategy and in store experience in line with this new concept, fighting off stiff competition of other stores with a never-ending sale that 'must end on Sunday' but never actually does!

What the press are saying:
"My Tyldesley is so convinced that no one still believes furniture retailers when they advertise post-Christmas discounts, that this year he hasn't bothered"

"Mr Tyldesley said he was braced for a tough period following the VAT hike but added: "We know we are doing the right thing by continuing to invest in the business and grow our brand.
"I truly believe we are going to increase our market share. We are probably facing the hardest six months we have seen in a long time but I envisage we will outperform our competitors and we feel confident about the future."
He added that he is launching a campaign to prevent retailers from ramping up prices on certain goods for a limited period, only to reduce them again after 28 days and proclaim huge price reductions.
"There's a lot of disingenuous practice and it is totally misleading to consumers," he said, adding that he was lobbying the Office of Fair Trading over so-called 'yo-yo pricing'."
