GodDAMMIT!

The video is muted, and this was the only Tae Kwon Do HL I liked on YouTube.

NigaHiga was right...YouTube is becoming way too commercialized.

i would check my sources if i were you....

I've done point sparring and this isn't it.
This is what is known as Olympic Style sparring. it goes for one minute continuous with out stops and the only way to score points is by making the person move they are known as "shocking blows" thats why you don't see many punches cause its hard to get a good punch that will make them move without hitting them to the face. And there are at least 3 judges watching every match keeping score

Hehe, I know by personal experience that TKD-kicks are very powerfull, I won't argue with that! =)

You have to remember that in a real situation, it's rarely practical and AFAIK never suggested by self defense trainers/teachers to deliver high kicks for KO's.. The abdomen, or in some rare cases the chest, would be the highest I'd probably ever aim a kick myself, but since it'd make me less stable, I'd probably consider other options first..

I agree that this video doesn't show TKD at it's best

I totally agree with you unless you know who you are going up against. which would be awesome to know when you got into a fight :P

all im saying that tkd kicks done properly can take someone out before you even know it and with the right tenique that kick can be delivered to the head before the person even knows what hit him.

but of course in a real situation im not gonna first go for a head kick but a kick can be done and you can still keep your stability fairly good

I totally agree with you too, but there's quite an obvious paradox in that statement: IF you really manage to get that KO-kick in before he knows what hit him wouldn't that make YOU the attacker? ;)

I just have to say this before I get flamed by someone again: Yes, I'm just fooling around! The question isn't meant to be too serious, it's meant to make you all laugh a little, or at least put a little smile on everyone's face! =D

Enjoy life, smile a little more! It really isn't harder than that!
