Paul returns to Studio 2 at Abbey Road. The room where all the Beatles records were made. For an intimate journey through his songwriting history. From his very first Beatles song to the work on his new album "Chaos & Creation In The Backyard".

  • He really wasn't when you think about it. He just desperately wanted to keep the Beatles together, and he was upset with the fact that he was losing his best friend. I think it goes deeper than Paul just being a control freak.

  • This is when you realize what real music is. Calms the soul and relaxes the mind. This computer crap that is out now days is just a phase. It will pass.

  • George was tired of being a Beatle, and had a huge backlog of songs that had been rejected by the Beatles over four years. All three were proficient guitar players, arrangers and producers, besides being composers, and by 1969, they had been working together practically non-stop for 11 years ... sometimes getting on one another's nerves.

John was also tired and just wanted a break and a shot at a normal life.

Ringo had been the first to want a break, but was lured back.

Agreed. I think that Paul thought of himself as trying to be a leader and trying to lead them all on after Brian's death. I think he looked at himself as looking out for the other three by trying to lead on, but they resented his efforts even though I think that he was sincere in his efforts to lead the group on.

  • no one wrote songs like macca.

  • The acoustic rendition of "I've Got a Feeling" has more soul.

  • @GreenDayPolice :D

    It's great.
