Very much so, however it was a spare from another project. Also, what the video doesn't show is if the switch is held and the servo can't switch the button off after a short period it backs off, waits, then makes another attempt... which can also be done with hardware if you're anti-embedded.
Isn't that an overkill? Use of a microcontroller for a function that can be controlled by two switches?

I made it with a microcontroller (Arduino Mini) and a servo. The box is made out of a sheet of PVC.
