The sun "talks" to the Earth. One channel, still poorly understood, involves the ionosphere. The ionosphere interacts magnetically with the solid Earth, reaching deep into the crust, generating forces that can trigger earthquakes. Before major earthquakes, the crust "talks" back to the ionosphere, causing perturbations.
leave Zurround alone-this talk had as much charisma of a carrot,,even the one stuck in my snowman.
the speaker should be selling schnuglebusters down the local hardware.

@Zurround100 It does, but you seem to have a rather limited imagination, so you are probably missing what's interessting. Stop trolling.

@harrei it's not about egos. It's about having a sound skeptical view on how and science is done and how it is presented. If nobody asked critical questions and pointed out where a study or a claim was on shaky ground, we would't have a strong functioning science. Yes it was interesting and i'm sure we all would love more founding to this area of science. He could be right after all on most of what he presented, but here we need some more solid science agreeing that support this first.

@Zurround100 Another whiny complaint from Zurround100. If it were up to me, I'd just block him from this channel.

it's all about provoking thought and he didn't say it was absolute in any sense, but as always some people can't let go of their egos. this is very interesting and i hope more research will be done in the area.

OK... predict some future quakes. Otherwise, I can see a thousand ways to falsify this.
