Vocal coach rates Archuleta & Cook; Cook sang female song!

Despite Caldwell and Guarini's praise, Byrd didn't seem too thrilled by Cook's song choice. She impresses me with her honesty. Since Cook has won, she could have easily taken credit for helping Cook with the song. Instead, she still seems lukewarm about it.

I'[m impressed that Cook took such a risk by choosing a "female" song -- and did it so well. What a sensitive guy!

Well, this video was 3/4th about Cook, little bit about Archuleta and the song book. I didn't see this year ago. I didn't miss much, it looks like. singing female song, I guess, that's news at that time. Of course, they wouldn't mention that David Archuleta won all three Rounds from the judges.

So what? It's significant because it shows David as sensitive and willing to take risks. He refuses to be boxed in by his art or society.

But in those cases, they were forced to by the producers. In this case, he chose the song himself and sang it despite some obvious doubts from vocal coach, Debra Byrd. What a guy!

Are you suggesting that the coverage was biased against Archie? Can you prove that? Based what I saw, the coverage was balanced and even in favor of Archie. And just how do you know that the show didn't mention the judges' results? This video is just a small part of the show. And I agree with askformoreinfo; you just seem bitter that Archie lost.
