  • Great voice, THE BEST SINGER EVER!!!!!!!

  • Gillan - the band were awesome and never got the recognition they deserved - such a shame they ended the way they did with the Sabs thing - Mr Universe is an amazin' track! I remember rushing home from 6th from college to catch this on Rock Goes to College! Heady days!

  • @zefurioustube As did the english, long serving prisoner Charles Bronson? (NOT the actor)!

  • Mad Irish axe-man Bernie Torme, one of the best rock guitarists ever, very under-rated? Also one of the coolest, look @ his shoes! One white, one black!!!.....Very rock `n roll !

  • Gillan just wer'nt the same after Bernie was dumped, great track from a great album..

  • i saw this band no times between say 77 - 83 ...Great stuff , i'll never remember it !

  • This lineup of Gillan was far and away my favourite rock band of the 1980s and Bernie Torme was a massive influence on my guitar playing. Pure gold, thanks for uploading this.

  • no other band on earth looked more like a rock band-than this line up of GILLAN ......i mean c'mon, look at 'em!

  • CLASSIC OF METAL!!!!!!!!!

  • My father saw Gillan in the late 70s just after the MrUniverse album came out... it was in a small berlin movie-theater "Kant Kino", and there were just a few people, most of them expected to hear the jazzy "Ian Gillan Band" stuff... so they were quite startled^^ he and his friends were the only ones to stand in front of the stage, and he remembers Torme playing brilliant solo after solo, must have been great times :/ I see gillans actual solo band "Deep Purple" in november.. (ok that's mean) ;)

  • Gillan is the BEST! Until this day...and forever!
