This was a proper battle of Britain under the 3 foreigner rule with Cantona being the only none Brit in the starting line ups of both games. Id love to see a similar rule come back into play and make European competitions more of a level playing field.

@19189073 We are out of Europe now.Whilst Cyprus has a team in the champions league doing welll.I bet that we spend more on players than them.If we cant produce our own players from the West of Scotland,that will become a great team.We might as well forget about Europe.Even in 92 the 3 forinear rule helped our national team.As they were getting games in C.L.And Celtic are worse,at bringing through there own players than us.Its the only way forward,as no big name players want to play for us now.

It's shocking how far Scottish football has fallen since then. I was there that night and you lot had some team, not many turned us over at home like that.
Rangers would have been right up there with Man Utd that season, right now they'd probably be in a relegation scrap at the bottom.

I'm a diehard Celtic fan, but I was shouting for Rangers that night. There was a lot of truly unspeakable arrogance from the English media prior to the return leg at Elland Road and it was just delightful to watch them choke on their words.
