Is that Chris Wallace???????????!!

P.S. Sinatra didn't always like Reagan. At one time Reagan seemed "boring and stupid". But that was before the change of heart. Sinatra liked Ron enough to invite both him and Nancy to Frank's 1976 wedding of Barbara Marx.

According to Kitty Kelley's book "His Way", Sinatra switched from Democrat to Republican in 1970 when he found out Jesse Unruh was running against Reagan in the California gubernatorial election. Sinatra claimed Unruh, a former state assemblyman, sabotaged Hubert Humphrey's chances of winning the presidency in 1968. Many of Sinatra's colleagues promptly labeld Ol' Blue Eyes a "sellout", but Sinatra did gain a new best friend in vice-president Spiro T. Agnew.

Did he say "Ree-gan" at one point? :)
I notice no one from CBS interviewed him. Only ABC and NBC. Interesting.

@FRSFreeState he switched teams after JFK jerked him around and stayed at Bing's house (a republican) during a trip to California instead of Frank's as had been planned.

Frank Sinatra was a liberal democrat for years a staunch supporter of Franklin Roosevelt and a early supporter of Jack Kennedy when he ran for president however he had a fall out with Peter Lawford fellow rat pack member and then Kennedy Brother in law and because of it fellow out of favour with the Kennedys. Sad though as I wished Sinatra could have always been on good terms with the Kennedys as they had high hopes. I like Ronald Reagan however he does not beat Jack Kennedy.

How did he wind up with these gangsters?
Great singer though!

Sinatra, arguably the most famous man in the world in the 1970s, paid his dues. Bi-polar? Does that mean singing Angel Eyes and Bad Bad Leroy Brown @ the same gig? Racist? The man knew Sam when about the NAACP were still discussing lynchings.
Sinatra a republican, sad? Oh, that's right he wasn't a pissed off, mad as hell, I am always right, statist. RIP big guys (can't forget Dutch) we will get the United States back to where it needs to be; founded by brilliant minds with conservative principles. The New Deal has turned the U.S. into the Raw Deal.

That's too bad and not very nice at all. I'm sure the waiter was compensated $. Did you read this in a book? Sinatra over the years, punched out paparazzi too. He was a manic-depressive (now called bi-polar). On the other hand, I don't know many "scumbags" who have raised million$ for various charities, publicly fought for racial intolerance, anonymously paid hospital bills for friends and strangers. He was no Angel. Neither are many other "Stars" including Elvis. Just enjoy their music.
