@LarssaLarsson I wanted John to know how happy I was to meet him saying, "It's like meeting your own hero." Then John said, "Think about when I met Phil." I said, "Same feeling!"

Have you met him or been to his concerts? He always brings excellent shows!!!!
I haven't been to Thin Lizzy shows though.
BTW, do you know WildeStarr from Thin Lizzy Board? He's a funny professional musician who was labeled as "cultural misfit" by Dr. Dan! LOL

I can understand first time i heard Loveland i just fought "hey this is not how Sykes usual sounds" but i liked it. You are a lucky one to got the honor to meet him.

@LarssaLarsson Glad you found this collection of different types of ballads! Honestly speaking, when I heard John releasing a ballad album, I was hoping he included some of harder ballads similar to "I Need An Angel", "Looking For Love" (Whitesnake) ,apparently the work mainly done by John. The powerful ballds best describe the incredible talent of John. Since I'm a diehard Sykes fan, I appreciate pretty much all he does. : )
It was such an honor meeting him in '95 in Japan! Gorgeous hero!!
