Well, just to clarify, all sousaphones are tubas, but not all tubas are sousaphones. A sousaphone is a type of tuba, of the marching and carrying around variety. thx! :)

A contra is actually a member of the bugle family. Weird, right? I don't know why people always go out of their way to correct those who call sousaphones, tubas.
