Finnish M39 is called Ukko-Pekka. Old man Pekka.
-
The ultimate bolt action battle rifle. I'd love to own one.

I have a mosin M39 as well, (not Finnish though..) the bolt is so worn cause ive fired atleast 1200 rounds through it. still works like a charm, and still accurate.

@rozkapazka And Pekka is a derivation of Russian Petka, which comes from Peter, or Petrus.
So 'Ole Man Pete' - we could say in 'Americanish'

...I don't want to sound like a CoDfag, but this sounds like the version in WaW. And I loved that gun. And I love this gun.

Another video of a guy shooting rapid fire!!!!... How original! (sarcasm out)

He didnt happen to be Simo Haya did he? if so you have a pretty cool grandfather im sure none the less he is cool but oh nevermind.
-
thank you :) i was very worried about the case ejection :)
-
Well full with full auto the case ejection is about the same as a semi auto. I've never had a prolem with it except on bullpup rifles.

I own both , K98 and M39 and my opinion is: K98 is better for shooting and it dosent kick so hardly, but its MUCH easier to aim with M39 and its much sharper.
So I think M39 is little bit better than Mauser, but better anyway.
You got everything! The most accurate of mosins, and great speed!
