@MrAcenan What do ground munitions have to with aerial combat? And I cannot see why a 52-year old 20 mm gatling-style cannon would tip the favour to the F-16?
@ColonelAli Hahaha . . to be a so new plane and be a almost degration of the F-16, and at a price of almost twice as much as a F-16, not impressed. . And the F-16 has a greater thrust from its F-100 engine(=greater climing speed) and greater payload(420kg/m2, if i remember correctly). and dont forget the M61a1, the AGM-119 Penguin. . ;p
My little boy Quintin, he said years ago, at about 6, that he was going to be the next lead pilot and commander of the US Air Force Thunderbirds, I never heard even heard of them, so he had to give me a quick lesson.
he even told me, that one time the leader had a plane malfunction, and went straight into the ground, and the rest of the Thunderbirds followed to their deaths.
@LeBartman A while back there where no Air Force, only Army Air Force. Now they are two seperated branches. . i do belive. . .

Even though I am confident that my Gripen can whoop an F-16 anyday, I can't help but hum this song as I drive to work every morning!
