I know there is supposed to be acrobatics involved with Tae Kwon-Do to make some effective kicks but this just looks like a damn gymnastics meet instead of a Martial Arts demonstration.

I think back then it was 'extreme forms' might still be extreme form, anyways,
These 'tricks' aren't meant to be used combat, It's just a performance.
Also, he is a black belt in TKD and/or Karate, or some martial arts, and is agile as fuck, so he can definitely kick some ass.
