Scenes from the second weekend of the 'Giant Gala of Giants' NYMR Spring Gala which once again saw the railway sadly hit by a number of loco failures but managing to overcome them and put on a good show despite the problems. One loco dominated the weekend, A4 60019 'Bittern' which resulted in my wife pronouncing it a very 'Bitternesque' gala!
Part one of the video features the following;
N2 0-6-2 tank at Darnholme, banked by Standard 4, 76079 and then arriving and departing from Goathland.
60019 at Beck Hole, Darnholme, Goathland with the 'Moorlander' dining train and Moorgates.
Somerset and Dorset 7F, 53809 seen (just about!) at Thomasson Foss, entering Goathland with the freight and finally departing Goathland. The scenes are a mix from Friday and Saturday of the gala. Thanks to all involved at the railway for producing a very enjoyable gala despite suffering several problems
Lovely Jubbly!

That was very enjoyable Austin. There wasn't that much Bittern in the mix! I particularly enjoyed the last clip of the 7F leaving Goathland which was beautifully executed (despite a slight hitch which I won't mention!). It was nice to see our 'local' N2 producing good performances, admittedly with some assistance.

Many thanks Mike, I presume the hitch you mention was the slight zoom in and then after I realised which way the button went, zooming out! I thought I had got away with that but a true pro like yourself was bound to spot it. Sadly there was a problem with the N2 on the Saturday so I didn't manage any more shots of her.
