He was a genius!!
-
@keltyk Admittedly when I saw him perform Saviour during this period- his use of the cap gun was more- erm-- effective ;)
-
@RideNitro686 Thought someone with additional time on their hands should gift your comment the dignity of a reply- The fans smart enough to know 'baiting' when they see it- and unlikely to take seriously the judgment of someone who can spell 'retarded'- but not 'genius' - Telling as that might seem- Though- your comment is amusing- taken for what it is- Disingenuous- You probably know that word means- 'pretending to be stupid'- So it's really a kind of compliment- Though I doubt anyone cares

saw him during this period- It was radical to use drum machine and backing tapes even then- about '78 I'd guess- I think he used them even earlier- My guess is he couldn't get finances to maintain the great band he'd had- So took a pragmatic approach and became an innovator in the process

@cheshgal hes really not a genious. hes retarded. or hes just trippin his face off. like all the time

Amazing

Kevin Coyne ist one of the most important musicians in the world because of his lyrics. Of course he was a fool (his words), but a wonderful lovely fool. I feel very sorry about his death.

He has got 10 years more than Glenn Gould - my other fouvorite musician. Ilove him!
