i tried to do this myself and cut the liner WRONG!! I had to buy ANOTHER freakin liner!! fk! fk! fk!

put close pins on the top to hold the liner until the pool is filled to a few inches below the inlet opening. Then put the skimmer/inlet in and the n fill it the rest of the way and put the rail on.

Liners today are so cheaply made it's hard to believe that home owners do it

Liner installation is not this simple for larger pools. Make sure you know what you are doing or hire a pro to avoid the many pitfalls you can run into.
