  • do you need the cd on windows7 32bit

  • @MrDavidtron7 You actually do not need the CD at all. You can download the software/drivers direct from the Atarimax website including windows 7 32 or 64 bit HOWEVER though you could still by this they now offer the new SD card version, it is the updated model, no software, more features with BONUS games. Just drag and drop using anything that can read an SD card. See description for links.

  • Hi,

Can you play the Coleco Adam supergame roms through this multicart(such as 2010, Super Donkey Kong/Jr., Super Zaxxon)?

  • I don't recall personally (it's packed away) but I found an online review where the person metioned using it to play Super Donkey Kong so if these roms have the same requirements then I assume yes, as long as none of those games require anything more than the original Colecovision console had...........

  • Hey Rob, are the games included on the CD? Or do you have to download them all yourself?

  • As with most items of this nature the ROMS/Games are included, however it certainly is not hard to find the entire collection from various online sources, even if your not into using bittorrent just searching colecovision roms download you will eventually find the entire set which is a tiny download,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • I didn't try the workaround solution for 64bit Vista, and I have no idea if Windows 7 allow to install the drivers, but what I did is running windows 98SE virtually in my computer to use the drivers properly. Not the best solution but it works perfectly.

  • If I recall correctly Daniel did have some issue running under Vista64 but I have run successfully under Vista32bit/XP SP3, also make sure you get the latest software directly off the Atarimax site itself in case there have been updates since the bundled cd..............

  • Well, I find it easy to use and setup the roms etc, I have seen what you do with emulators and such so I am sure you will have no problem, and once you got that baby loaded up with your favorites you can pretty much stop swapping carts......

  • Daniel, did you manage to get the cart working properly? Excellent way to test out your creations no doubt. I just ordered a version. Can't wait to see some more of your creations on the genuine article. :)
