RAM is merely one type of memory... Hoh. One shant say the two are the same for that would incline that RAM is the only type of memory a computer device can access.

Ok my mistake. RAM is short term and ROM long term. ROM is what you're computer "remembers" in order to run again and again, RAM is what it remembers before you are done using the computer (shutdown clears RAM).

The difference is RAM is what your computer uses to werk. and ROM is storage (ok they're both storage but ROM is usually manually accessed)
