Donald's penguin 1939

Admiral Byrd ships Donald a penguin from the South Pole. Donald is amused by it, until he thinks it has eaten his goldfish. It hasn't - yet - so Donald gets a fish from the fridge to make amends. When he comes back, though, he's got a reason to be upset with the penguin.

censoring classic animation is not ok for any reason, it's destruction of history

If anything this shows that you shouldn't play with guns because accidents happen. People are too blame happy these days--kids who find guns and shoot themselves were not told to do so by watching Donald Duck for crying out loud.

Only sick minded liberals would be upset at seeing guns in cartoons, all the classics cartoons had guns, and those generations didn't grow up killing each other and turning to crime at the rate young people do today.

The moments you watch cartoons from back when you were young and naive and think: Yea right that could never have happened in real life! But then u realize, this is just a cartoon! :)

I thought like: that ice in the box the penguin was in would have melted by now if it was sent in the mail :P

This was a beautiful story! :( Why was it censored? Not because Donald held a gun? He learned a valuable lesson that many parents who have ever wrongfully struck their children learn. And love, as always, finds a way to win. What a shame that this is allegedly censored?

That episode was so cruel it always made me cry, that is just not right, why would he use a gun on a baby penguin :'(
