Another GEM provided by my MECCA= "my local college radio" back in '82 and helping to FEED my "brand new" "appetite" for EXCELLENT "music" such as this tune right here that I wouldn't otherwise have been fucking "exposed to"!!!!... The "80's"... What an INNOVATIVE "decade"!!!.... I wonder if people in "1912" were as NOSTALGIC for the "music" from the "1880's".... Just a "thought"...

about 5 years after this song was a hit i was at a record store with a mate of mine. we were stoned and going through the records. he came across this album and said i've got to have this. so i followed him to the counter and we were served by a guy who looked as wasted as us (chinese eyes). even though this guy owned the store when my mate said "i want to buy this album" he said "where did you get this from, i have been looking for this album for ages". they then argued who was going to buy it

Saw them live at Sylvania Hotel in '81.This song was such a hit at the time that when they were performing it the whole floor was bouncing as every one got into it including the big monkey men working on the night.
