A brilliant film, I would like to think it took influence from this song.

On a side note, I thought the Japanese version: Letters from Iwo Jima complimented it brilliantly.

As long as there is oil for america, there will be people willing to fight for it. I wonder if Ira would have fougth in the Vietnam war, and for the current war against afghanistan. Most certainly not, because he was a real American.
