http://www.howtomakeanything.com Instructions on creating a device that will help your camera moves look smoother. Made from 1/2" PVC and some connectors, it only costs $10!
I just built one of these for $20. I wasn't thrilled at first just doing still life scenes, but then I tested it on people. It looks absolutely amazing doing tracking shots!
Thanks for sharing this rad idea. PS: if you want a little extra counterweight you can strap on leg weirghts to the bottom bar.
Great idea and a nice departure from all the rest of the people that try to build circular fig rigs. I found it also quite nice as I could mount my 16 inch 40 watt ring light to the front of the rig and shoot through the middle of it. With all that gear and offset weight you will most certainly want to increase the length of your base for added stability. I also mounted my wireless remote at the hand grip location.
what camera is that?

I like the rig....great idea.
The only weakness for everyone watching is replicating the mounting head.
Any for info on that one or another idea?
