tribute to actress Linda Christian (13 Nov 1923 - 22 July 2011).
Born Blanca Rosa Welter to Mexican & Dutch parents,the beautiful Linda Christian was known for playing in the last Tarzan film with Johnny Wiessmuller in 1948 & was also the first Bond girl,starring in the 1954 television adaptation of 'Casino Royal'.She had made her screen debut in the 1944 Danny Kaye film 'Up in Arms'
Perhaps best known however,for her 7 year marriage to Tyrone Power that produced two daughters,Taryn & Romina.
Fluent in 7 languages,the intelligent & talented actress passed away in Palm Springs on the 22nd July 2011 from cancer.

the announcement of her death in the newspaper led me to investigate her a little bit and I found her daughter Romina and her great success in Italy with Albano which I remembered from my younger days.
