Yikes! My camera has enough issues! LOL

Well actually you can. You can pretend the camera is them, and have a pretend conversation smackoff. Well... just hopefully your camera doesn't fall to the ground if you happened to get too much into the moment. lol!! :)

Aww this was such a cool video... made me laugh although I think this was made before I got my camera. Maybe I should start a video recycling project like this one and try to bring a little hope of a community still standing!! : ) ahh what a good memory this video brings!! : )

Thanks. I feel the same way about it. It's a good reminder of how things used to be =(

Yea it is... it's kinda scary to think that Youtube has turned into a mainstream business... I'm wondering why did the original owners of Youtube sell it to google?? I remember you saying something about the original owners in one of your videos and it kinda left my wondering why they gave youtube to google....

The site was growing so fast that they couldn't afford the bandwidth and servers. They didn't have the staff or the funds to keep up with it. They started a little video site and it grew into an empire. Then Google comes along and offers them millions of dollars.... what the heck? Why not sell it? They're now set for life.

Oh I see now it makes sense... but why couldn't they have usd a more respectable company (I know part of the answer already) or even have sponsers... I mean they just took "the easy way out" because of something they felt they couldn't handle by themselves... well I guess this is what happens when something that was meant to be good turns into something bad because you can't deal with it anymore... (sigh) well we can only do what we can in the mean time.. and that is being thkful 4 wat we hav!:)

I think if they had not accepted Google's offer at the time, the site wouldn't be in existence at all now. There were a lot of problems happening due to the growth, and they just couldn't keep up. And they didn't have the resources to get enough advertisers, in order to keep up with the growth. And if the site keeps having problems, the people leave. Either way, I think they were at a critical point, and had passed the point of no return. As it is...

Google didn't make a profit for a year or two. It was the Google resources that kept YouTube afloat, until YouTube could actually support itself. But that also meant that it had to go mainstream. For me personally, I guess there was going to come an inevitable lose/lose point.
