Chill Longboard Video

This video is fairly old and was made to document the good ole times with my friends and longboarding during the summer. If you want "sick tricks", some of my other videos have them and I'll be coming out with more as soon as I have time to film. Yes, my friends should wear helmets, but as much as I want to, I can't force them to do so. Personally, I always wear my skull bucket.

I'm not sure of all the boards' setups but I'll try my best to guess.

Jack: Big Loui board (Custom fiberglass board he got at an auction in California)

Adam: the stock pintail Sector 9 complete (they change the model name all the time with the graphic, that specific one had the "Bomb hills, not countries" graphic.

Nate: ?

Alec: Loaded Dervish Flex 2, Abec11 BigZig 75mm 78a green, Paris trucks (not sure if 150mm or 180")

Zach and Tony: Sector 9 Uluwatu, Zach has Abec11 BigZig 75mm 78a green and Tony just has the stock wheels.

At the beginning i wan't the same thing as the camerman. I have never really longboarded but i skateboard. I wan't the same thing you have. I love that style and i jsut want to go fast. what is it called the whole thing. and how mcuh is it complete.

The Loaded Dervish isn't super great for going really fast, it gets a little sketchy on speeds over 35mph. I'd recommend looking for a drop-deck if you want to do downhill, Landyatchs and Rayne are well known makers for them. The Dervish has a nice feel for carving/cruising (what most beginning longboarders want).

@YoBassMaster your right they do "suck", but at least they are having fun with their "shitty ass tucks". So chill out and just do your thing and they'll do theirs. If it makes you feel any better I, the filmer, can do frontside, backside, switch, and shuv-it standups (I couldn't when this video was made, but by not listening to hostile Youtube comments I've progressed fairly well).

@ferrarix20 Yeah I totally understand. I've always worn my helmet and since this video has been made, the people that I longboard with wear theirs aswell.

@TheSlyProductions a more comfortable speedboard though would be a sector 9 dh division or a comet voodoo doll since theyre flat. and dont forget trucks, I would recommend gunmetal(change bushings according to your weight) and some nice grippy wheels.
