Sonic: The Gizoid - Progress Trailer

'The Gizoid' is a Sonic fan-game with a difference. Playing as the Gizoid, you can unlock and choose a variety of skills and abilities from a host of characters from the Sonic universe. These skills will change the way you play through huge levels with multiple end points and unlockables along the way. You can sprint start-to-finish, fight everyone you can or go exploring to find unlockables!

How did you do the customization of the different parts of the Gizoid? Are the various appendages drawn separately?

And I do hope this is completed.

Kinda, basically I added the sprites from the sprite sheet, then duplicated it, then cut out the darker body parts, then did the same with just the eyes and hands. THEN added a purely white version to all these. So theres eight sprites for The Gizoid, each with over 150 frames (so far!) ...it is a painful process lol

Hey, a couple reasons I didnt put all I had in, one is that a lot of it is still work in progress and broken. Also I didnt want to put too much into the demos, especially levels, as the nature of the game is that you unlock abilties and progress, it wouldnt be the same if you had already played all the levels with all the abilties then in the full game you have hardly any! Thats my thought anyway

I like your idea a lot! Zoom the camera in a little on the main character and it should be fine.

NO way sonic knucles shadow and super sonic whn i played the DEMO i said it would of benn beter if you can be super sonic or other charectors other then gizoid WOOT! cant wait till it comes out!
