This is Scott P. Phillips teaching some beginning 8 Muscle Tendon Lengthening Qigong (also called Tonify the Sinews).
This type of practice is meant to be done daily. It looks a lot like stretching but in most stretching the circulation of Qi is cut off, creating the feeling that the muscles are hard and must be "stretched." In these Qigong exercises we never go to the point where we feel a stretch. We just relax, hang out, and go through the routine. Time does the work for us.
