Straight from the pressroom guys. This video shows a full fledged version of Google Android working on a T-Mobile G1. All the Google applications are loaded on the T-Mobile G1. This includes Seach, Maps, Gmail and Contacts, Calendar, Google Talk and You Tube all enabled with a single sign-on -- no further logins are required. The fact that these are fully synchronized to the web negates the need for a desktop application. Amazon MP3 store, IMing, Street View and compass mode are also included. This video is straight from T-Mobile's Live Android event.

  • GPS?!

  • umm...i'm sorry, but i think that the iphone is better as far as hardware, but the software on the G1 is what makes it revolutionary. The open source, comprehensive OS is the reason why the phone made such a big impact, but the hardware on the iphone is what popularized it, as it was the first really awesome smart phone with touch screen. Sorry, but i think you confused software and hardware...

  • i dont really see anything more then the iphone has other then the keyboard! i guess only time will tell

  • ass

  • And.. Not to mention Android will be on the iPhone soon because of it's open source nature. I'm hoping to make mines dual boot with android OS and iPhone OS - so that way i can play with some of androids neat apps and functions. Who else likes Apples and Googles? :P

  • 95% of teens would die if they saw the jonas brothers at the top of a skyscraper about to jump.

Copy and paste this EVERYWHERE if you are in the 9001% who would say 'jump assholes

  • you can watch movies if you know how

  • allow arguing

  • Even though i prefer the g1. i gotta say of course the iphone can watch movies. It's an ipod with a phone in it

  • It may be better tecnical but the software of the iphone is the best. Iphone 3g is already very old but its still offered. And when another phone comes out, everybody compares it to the iphone.....Its just the best phone ever *PEACE*
