The bear was put in there to learn self-defence because it was going to be put in a safari park. Which as you can see, it was defending itself at the end of the video.

The purpose of it was not for entertainment. But the TV team thought it was funny and decided to film it, and personally i think it's funny even though it's harsh.

The bear will not be traumatized, it's a part of growing up.
