Highly underrated series that was a forerunner to The Office.

The BBC must show this again, and take off the bloody stupid laughter track.

It is a laughter track, added after. It is stupid and ruins the show. But it was an experimental show at the time it was on TV. Now, we see it as standard that there should not be a laughter track. Hopefully, someone will have removed it on the DVDs.

to all those in the media biz who think you tube is killing you off. "this gave me a chance to catch a clip of an old show and to make me think of buying the dvd." unfortunately a laughter track has been added so i won't be shelling out. touche!

just watched the great perry benson in "Magic" on channel 4's coming up series and it made me look up this great show. hilarious first time round, years before the office, it was so dead pan. But now it has a CANNED LAUGHTER TRACK ADDED???!!??! and it kills it dead! i hope the dvd is the original show. i won't be buying it now just in case. great show, crap version.
